Embark on an exciting 3-day expedition along the serene Güejar River. Discover hidden waterfalls like Arenales, steep canyons, and stunning natural landscapes such as the 5 wonders of Güejar, all while immersing yourself in the coolness of its crystal-clear waters and exploring its rich wildlife.

In this tour, you will have 2 full days of Llanero Safari at Hato La Aurora in search of the Casanare ‘Big 5,’ which are: Capybara, Anaconda, Anteater, Otter, and Jaguar, as well as deer and other species. On the first day, you will take a canoe ride along the rivers surrounding the reserve, and on the last day, you can optionally do a horseback riding activity or a hike by the natural trails near the lodge observing its fauna along the way.

Caño Cristales and the municipality of La Macarena are known for their wide range of tourist attractions. On this tour, you will visit Caño Cristales, the Raudal de Angosturas, and the lesser-known Caño Canoas, which features a series of waterfalls cascading from a wall over 70 meters high. On days 1 and 5, you will engage in activities such as visiting Caño Cristalitos, Caño Piedra, the Botanical Garden, or experiencing a Llanero sunrise, having also 1 night of local music and dance display.

On the tour of Hato La Aurora, you will experience a significant diversity of wildlife and enjoy activities with locals in the ‘llanero’ style. On the first day, you will take a canoe tour along the river just next to the lodge. On the second day, you will have a full-day safari in the natural reserve searching for the ‘Big 5.’ For the final day, you can optionally do a horseback riding activity or a hike by the natural trails near the lodge observing its fauna along the way.

On this tour, you will visit the colorful Caño Cristales river and the iconic Raudal de Angosturas I, where you will see special strong rock formations sculpted by millions of years of wind and the power of water that provide a special unique landscape in those 2 full day activities at the destination. Additionally, on days 1 and 4, you will engage in activities such as visiting Caño Cristalitos, Caño Piedra, the Botanical Garden, or experiencing a Llanero sunrise, having also 1 night of local music and dance display.

During this tour you will have a mix of nature and culture by visiting Gorgona Island, which is one of the best places to observe the humpback whales in Colombia and also known for its well preserved land and underwater ecosystems. Your will also visit Guapi, which is a town located right in front of Gorgona Island, where you can live unique community, cultural and gastronomic experiences. By attending this trip you will also be supporting formal projects of local communities in this emerging destination in the country.

Nuqui is a great nature travel destination in the north of the pacific coast of Colombia, offering a great level of conservation as there are no big cities nearby or roads that connect this place with the rest of the country. In this place you can do hikes in the jungle searching for birds and species like the golden poison frog, swim in unique hot-springs, practice scuba-diving in well-preserved corals with whale sharks during the sardines’ migration (In May) or live the the humpback whale migration that occurs between July to mid-October.

During the months of July to October it is possible to observe the humpback whales that reach the Colombian Pacific coasts to have their cubs. Bahía Málaga is one ofthe most accessible areas to make this sighting, offering also a rich hydric wealth in pristine ecosystems, in a destination that has a strong black communities and small indigenous groups culture offering great gastronomy, vibrant rhythms and chill vibes in the area.

This 5-days experience is designed for people that want to discover all the attractions of the desert at a slow pass and do not have time restrictions. Here you will have the same itinerary of the 4-days experience, visiting Manaure salt flats, Cabo de La Vela, Punta Gallinas and Mayapo beaches & La Macuira National Park, but without any rush due to the extra night at the desert that will give you some flexibility in the transportations and times at the attractions in a smooth way.
