Esta experiencia de 3 días es el tour más popular para visitar el Parque Nacional El Cocuy, siendo un balance perfecto entre la duración del tour y los grandes paisajes, visitando 2 de las 3 caminatas disponibles dentro del área protegida. En este plan llegarás dos veces a la línea fronteriza de nieve ubicada a 4.900 metros sobre el nivel del mar (16.000 pies) por los senderos «Pulpito del Diablo» & «Laguna Grande de la Sierra». Necesitarás estar físicamente preparado para realizar las caminatas de 50 kms aprox. en total en 3 días.

Esta experiencia de 2 días está diseñada para personas que desean una visita rápida para llegar a la línea fronteriza de las nieves situada a 4.900 m.s.n.m. (16.000 pies). Si dispone de poco tiempo para visitar las montañas nevadas de este destino, ésta es una gran opción. Primero descubrirás el hermoso pueblo verde y blanco de El Cocuy, teniendo un día de aclimatación y luego visitarás uno de los senderos dentro del Parque Nacional donde podrás ver los glaciares de esta región.

It is generally believed that when hundreds of sheep were disappeared from the place where the temple stands today, the shepherds prayed to get their sheep back. Surprisingly they had a vision of the Devi herself who asked them to sacrifice a few of the sheep to get back their lost ones. It is said that when they sacrificed the demanded sheep as they were asked by the Devi, the lost sheep were found, and from then onwards people started to worship Pathibhara Devi.
